An Easy Answer?

Is steroids an easy answer to your problems? Yea, come on, all it'll do is make you huge right? Who doesn't want to look good in front of a mirror? This is whats wrong with some youth, they want to look,"insanley huge like the action figures,"(pg.9). Just like women sometimes conform to cultural images of physicality; males also experience feelings of insecurrety because of their physical appearance. In the human body steroids act as hormones. When steroids attach to steroid receptor proteins, cells adapt to fight stress, promote growth, and bring on puberty, the stage where people can become sexually active. The side-affects are the most thing you should be worried about instead of the gain. In males, u can have reduced sexual function and temporary infertility, testicular atrophy, and pain when urinating.

This pertains to my subject because many of the athletes inthe world have at some point in their life has taken a substance to help them get bigger and stronger. But most of these substances are pure protein, this is legal, you can get it at your local GNC. I take this protein shake that my dad makes me drink and so far i have gained fifteen pounds of muscle. But you know there is always those people that want to do more. They do the ilegal thing and bring steroids into there sport, most common in the professional sports. Like Baseball, Football, etc.
